Sometimes things don't work out. Here's your peace of mind.
For the sale of certain products, the Company provides a money-back guarantee. That money-back guarantee is governed by the following terms, except to the extent that the terms of a specific product or service provide otherwise.
In-person ticketed events held at the Broadkill Writers Resort located at 907 N Bay Shore Drive, Milton, DE 19968, USA or operated by the Company at other locations, regardless of the duration of time for the event, constitute "workshops."
You may request to cancel your workshop ticket for a full refund, up to 72 hours before the date and time of the event by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations between 25-72 hours before the event may transferred to a different date/time of the same workshop. Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of the class date/time may not receive a refund nor a transfer. When you register for a workshop you agree to these terms.
Cancellations for rentals of the Broadkill Writers Resort facility must be received in writing at email@example.com. Rental payments are fully refundable (less the amount of the Company’s reservation fee, which is earned on receipt and becomes nonrefundable 24 hours after booking) for cancellations received 30 or more days before the first night of your reservation.
No full or partial refunds will be granted for no-shows or if you cancel less than 30 days before the first night of your reservation, arrive after the first night of your reservation, or depart before the last night of your reservation. If you have cancellation insurance, call the insurance company directly to make your claim to determine if you have a “covered” cancellation. Only contracts paid in full obtain a full refund for a covered expense. If you do not have insurance, we will try to re-rent the property. If we are able to do so, you will receive your deposit back, less a 15% cancellation fee based on your gross rental. If we are unable to re-rent the property, the full balance for the rental is due from you.
Except as expressly provided in the signed Rental Agreement, no refunds or compensation will be given and the Company shall not be liable to you for failure to make the property available for occupancy if the property is unavailable or becomes partially or wholly unusable for any reason outside the Company’s control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, mechanical failures, evacuation orders or other acts of government agencies, or utility outages.
The Company advises guests to obtain appropriate and comprehensive travel insurance that covers Renter and all Occupants and that includes coverage for personal injury and property damage or loss. Any travel insurance you obtain shall be primary for all occurrences in which you or any Occupant claims injury, loss or damage.
Any Cleaning Fees or Pet Fees collected at the time of reservation will be fully refunded for all advance cancellations, but no full or partial refunds of such fees will be granted in the case of a partial stay, either due to arriving after the first night of your reservation or departing before the last night of your reservation.
The Company welcomes your questions or comments regarding the Refund Policy:

We're trying to arrive at the same destination as you: the realization of your goals.
Sometimes, though, it's hard to steer things in the proper direction. Maybe we are looking at different spots on the map, or we each have a different idea of what "turn left!" means.
Either way a course correction is necessary and we need to make sure we're not rowing in opposite directions.
• If you are having issues let us try to assist you. Contact email@example.com to let us know what your situation is. We're here to help!
• Credit charges don't make sense? If you feel you were billed inappropriately for a product or service please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll investigate the matter ASAP. To do this we'll need as much information about the billing as possible.
• You only purchased the training for a specific topic, and it's not covered. That's great news! We can add course materials to fit your needs, or bring in a specialist on the subject from our network of experts for a live Q&A session. That way you get the answers you want, and we're course-correcting to build relevant products.
The details are waiting for you below!
Broadkill Writers Resort exists because we have persevered as publishers and authors through the most trying times publishing has seen in generations, and thrived, and we understand that you also need to know how to do that.
Sure, we had a plan.
But more than that we had determination.
Then, when we applied that determination we did it day in, day out, for years on end.
No, we didn't take vacations…and we don't recommend you go that far, because you will burn out.
You do, however, need to put in the hours of work necessary to get the results you want.
Unlike other programs we don't offer a retelling of the same basics you've seen available over and over again. Instead, we provide advanced knowledge accrued from 20 years of successes — and, more importantly, navigating failures — in the publishing industry.
In fact, that's probably what drew you to our offerings to begin with. If you remember why you set your goals and stick to your plan the work is doable.
We maintain resources within our trainings to help you set attainable goals and to sharpen your focus, in addition to providing resources available to everyone on our site, in the blog and elsewhere, such as "Beat the Marketing Blues: How to Stay Inspired in the Long Term."
Help us help you.
As we say in the Scream Into a Megaphone, Not a Void: Marketing on a Budget program: a person with a multimillion-dollar platform can bellyflop with the wrong effort, while a person with a beginner's budget and the right effort can soar so high everyone has to see them.
We're here doing the work to give you that platform you know you can launch yourself from.
Don't just stay there.
In addition to the high-value, low investment programs we offer there's a follow-up bonus for everyone who does the work: our Alumni Group.
With it you have access to a support network that provides motivation and accountability.
Alumni also have additional resources made available to them, included updated info about publishing industry trends, products that increase your return on investment, and news about disruption to business models.
Plus Alumni get regular check-ins with the Broadkill Writers Resort team to ensure implementation of skills they acquire from us.
Advertised as being valued at $2,000 the Alumni Group is actually worth much more than that when you compared it to mastermind programs that charge similar amounts or more, per year.
If you do the work you deserve the rewards.
Where other programs leave you to fend for yourself afterward we intend, with your permission, to assist at every stage of your success.
